June Board Minutes

Baseball:

Seniors- umps need to be scheduled 1 game on Tuesday 7pm 6/25, one game at 8pm on 6/24.
Harris tournaments Monday-Thursday 6/24-6/27.
Develop a process for scheduling end of season tournaments

Softball:

Medals arriving Wednesday need to be distributed. Wednesday (6/19) 5:30-5:45, 6:45-7:15.
4u & 6U get medals. Champion & Runner Up of tournament get trophy (arrival at end of this week).

Parking:

Signs were put up to prevent people from parking in peoples lawns around the park

Michigan high school athletic association 105 heat index. USA baseball & USA softball 115 heat index. Chet Waggoner 105 heat index

Travel Ball:

Partnership with Mystique softball- older pride teams having access to Mystique coaches. Give Mystique the opportunity to use our fields. Giving the older girls an opportunity to stay at harris. July 2 discussion among mystique leadership. Can we get enough coaching support from Mystique to support Harris.
Mishawaka field house, meeting on Thursday Harris getting time at MFH.
Advertising for SB Pride tryouts- recruiting video.
Female coaches at every level.

Fall Ball:

Background checks:

Next year the Umps will be paid for by Harris.
Appeal process needs to be put in place.
Insurance agent- we have a directors and officers policy if any park patron decides to take action against a board member.
